April 2025 Member of the Month: Nataly Reyes

We are excited to share UMD AMA’s member of the month for April! Nataly Reyes is a freshman at the Robert H. Smith School of Business studying marketing. Members earn this award for exceptional participation in the UMD AMA through superior attendance and active engagement to support the club’s mission and community.


Nataly explains how AMA has been an incredibly valuable resource for herself in expanding her network and exploring unique opportunities for growth. Not only is Nataly a committed member, but she is also the Director of Corporate Sponsorship, where she is excited to continue learning and developing.


When asked what draws her to marketing, Nataly explains how branding has always been an interest of hers. She is especially fascinated by how companies position themselves to the public and the strategies they implement to create their brand identity. When a company has a strong, cohesive image, it immediately catches her attention, and she becomes interested in the steps they took to build that brand. She is interested in how every decision, from design to messaging to advertising, plays a role in creating that overall brand perception.


Outside of the AMA, Nataly has had the opportunity to serve as the head of social media for an affinity group and sports-related entity. Each provided valuable insights into content creation and audience engagement. They each had distinct goals and target audiences, which allowed her to gain valuable skills in graphic design, engagement strategies, and staying on top of current social media trends.
